Boom Logic runs the Nonprofit IT Empowerment Program for registered nonprofits, including independent schools, community colleges, training charities and educational foundations. Enrolled nonprofits take 20% off every BoomTalk Live seat.
NITEP rates require enrolment in the program and a five-seat minimum, and the one-time setup fee applies. Nonprofits who also run Boom 365: MSSP Pro qualify for deeper BoomTalk Live pricing again, alongside 20% off MSSP Pro and managed cloud hosting through pooled purchasing.

Frequently asked by education teams.
Do learners need an account or an app to join a session?
No. Learners, applicants and parents join from a secure one-click link sent by email or SMS, straight from the browser. There is no account to create and nothing to install. You can also embed BoomTalk Live directly in your own site, student portal or app so sessions start from a place learners already know.
Is there a limit on how many people can join a group session?
No. BoomTalk Live group sessions have no fixed participant cap, so the same platform handles a one-to-one tutorial, a seminar group and a full cohort lecture. Any four-participant limit you may have seen quoted elsewhere for similar technology does not apply to BoomTalk Live.
Can it connect to our student information system or LMS?
Yes. BoomTalk Live exposes an API for integration with student information systems, learning management systems, CRMs and directory services, so enquiries, session summaries and outcomes land in the systems your staff already use. Boom Logic’s integration team can carry out that work as part of your rollout.
How does the AI handle sensitive conversations?
The AI layer handles intake, transcription, summarisation and routine answers drawn from your own documents. When a conversation involves a complaint, a safeguarding concern, a disability disclosure or a complex funding case, it hands over to a named member of staff with the full history attached. Staff remain in control of what is recorded and what is sent.

Who runs the platform – do we need to host anything?
Nothing runs on your infrastructure. BoomTalk Live is delivered on Boom Logic managed cloud, and Boom Logic operates, patches, monitors and supports it end to end. Your IT team gets a working platform and one accountable provider rather than another server to maintain.
